Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we do ship worldwide.

What is the refund policy?

After delivery, if you are not satisfied with the product, you have 14 days to claim a full refund of the purchase (no questions asked).
Additionally, all manufacturing issues reported within the first 2 years will entitle for a replacement or a fix at no extra cost.

What is the MicroREC app?

The MicroREC app is a mobile application that enhances the usability and features of the MicroREC. Every purchase of a MicroREC comes with a license to have free access to the app.

The MicroREC app provides:

  • Secure data storage for your medical photos and videos

  • Correction for 90-degree rotation introduced by some optical systems

  • Camera controls to better adjust image parameters while recording

  • In-app gallery and media player

We are constantly improving the application and adding new features, so we appreciate your requests and suggestions for new functionalities. You can directly do so here.

I am sharing a MicroREC with other doctors. Can we all get access to the MicroREC app?

Each MicroREC kit comes with one license. If you are sharing the MicroREC, only one user will have access to that license.

If you are interested in obtaining more than one license for the MicroREC app, reach out to us at commercial@customsurgical.de and we will find a solution for you.

What are the use cases of the MicroREC?

The MicroREC digitalizes your microscope or slit lamp, enabling multiple applications. Some of them are:

  • Telemedicine: share the image live with other doctors and discuss interesting cases.

  • Personal branding: promote yourself by sharing content on your social media, recording videos to present in congresses, …

  • Self-improvement: review your own procedures to improve your technique

  • Education: livestream to a big screen to show your students, guide wet lab trainings remotely, …

  • Remote customer support: if you offer technical support to doctors, you can allow your support team to remotely communicate with doctors in the OR.

How do I know if my sytem is compatible with MicroREC?

We offer modular adapters that connect to >90% of microscopic equipment and slit lamps in the market.

If your brand does not appear in the list, we cannot guarantee that our system will connect to it.
